WELCOME:
The Wampanoag Tribe of Gay Head (Aquinnah) welcomes you to this website and is pleased to offer the Tribal and Territory Sex Offender Registry System (TTSORS) service for our citizens. In an effort to provide for the protection, safety and wellbeing of our Tribal Community, we have implemented this system to ensure that any person who is required to register as a sex offender, does so in our system; so in turn, we can notify our citizens of their presence within our community.
SERVICE:
This TTSORS service is available to Tribes and Territories as a registered sex offender management and community notification tool, to notify concerned citizens should a registered sex offender move into your area. There is no cost for to you to use this system.
As offender names, addresses and other publishable offender information is received, TTSORS is updated in our office, providing you with real-time information and notifications on the offenders within the specified area radius of any address that you enter. You can either look up offender information or be provided direct notifications. There is no cost to you for this service and should you sign up for notifications, there is no limit to the number of addresses you can register.
CONFIDENTIALITY:
Please note that all email or physical addresses that you register are confidential, so be sure to register your home, school, work, gym, day care, park, soccer field, parent’s home, children's home - or any other address of concern to you, so that the notifications will reach you.
